Unexpected Knock Out Punch!
Indeed, Manny Pacquiao is still the Pound for Pound King in the field of Boxing. No one expected that the fight would end so soon – that Ricky Hatton, the pride of Great Britain, would fall twice in the first round and be knocked down for good in the second round. It was a brilliant performance by Manny Pacquiao. I can see that he is doing better and better on each fight.
Last night, while I was watching the first round of the fight, I expected that the fight would last longer than the 7th round. Or that it might reach until a 12th points decision to decide who will be the winner of the East and West battle. But to my surprise, Pacman, the pride of the Philippines started to do his footwork and jab. And in less than 6 minutes of fighting, Pacman was declared the winner of this world’s biggest boxing fight. Many say that this will be the end of Hatton’s career.
Back in 2007, Hatton was defeated by Mayweather Jr in 10 rounds. Last night, Manny Pacquiao finished him in 2 rounds. I’m pretty sure that Mayweather Jr. will be the next opponent of Pacman in the near future.
